Are you open to dance tango differently than you always did? Or maybe not so not, but would like to on different music? With La Neo we are moving the beacons. Dance tango the way you feel, open or close, still or expressive, familiar or experimental.

Everything is allowed at La Neo, everyone is welcome. How appropriate to celebrate this time on the day of the Revolution to independence in Argentina.

After the spectacular edition on King’s Day, we will continue on 25 May with another evening full of varied, touching music, many cool dances and fun and friendliness.

DJ Eze and DJ Saskia will give you their most beautiful music, VJ Edgy will again let the visuals swirl around your dance.

Workshop: ​​NeoTango Revolution

To honor the theme of our next edition we will learn what makes NeoTango so revolutionary and how you can apply this to your dance qualities and style. With NeoTango, a new revolution arose in dance and musicality. Just like tango was revolutionary at the end of the 19th century, it is until this day a dance that still keeps innovating.

Would you like to learn movements, qualities, musicality and other creative possibilities and become part of this revolutionary movement? We gladly invite you to join this workshop by Ezequiel Sanucci who, since he is one of the pioneers of this dance revolution, can be seen as the tango Ché ;-).

Ezequiel Sanucci will be teaching, Dj’ing and performing at the World Tango Congress in Den Haag from 22 till 24 Feb.

He will be Dj’ing neotango on Fr 22 and Su 24 and he shares de line up with tow other world wide top DJ’s: Iwan Harlan and Anna Neum.

He will teach a neotango workshop together with the fabulous teacher Anna Neum on Sa 23. The workshop is very full already, so please inscribe soon if you want to join it.

Anna is also an amazing dancer and DJ! Her music sets people in a dance trance! If you didn’t dance her music yet, then this is your chance. As well we high recommend you to take the opportunity come to this wonderful tango congress with many great artiest of around the world.

On Friday 22nd of February Ezequiel will teach a traditional tango workshop with great Argentina teach Emilia Andrada. The theme is “Fluency and balance in your dance” and this is the description: During the dance, the balance in the couple contributes efficiency in the movement. Likewise, the balance is in function of the embrace and how the individual axes interrelate to work together.
This shaft assembly is in constant connection with the floor. We will seek to improve the balance, embrace and connection of the couple to generate better momentum and greater fluidity in our dance. Therefore, we will work also with combinations that will help us to train this skills.

Workshop: Neo Tango Essence
Dancing Neo Tango is not exactly the same as dancing Traditional Tango. We use the same bio mechanics but we dance into other music and we have a lot more possibilities to use and explore. In this workshop Ezequiel Sanucci will teach you the essential elements that you need to enjoy dancing Neo Tango. How to dance into music that you don’t know and might feel either too slow or too fast. Which possibilities you can start exploring in order to give more freedom, enjoyment and excitement to you dance. How to connect with you partner in a new/different way that the traditional one. And of course, how to make your dance looks more Neo Tango. After this workshop you can enjoy the neolonga and immediately put in practice what you’ll learn.

After 2 years finally Lydia & Ezequiel will teach Traditional and Neo tango courses together again at Academia de Tango in Amsterdam!

If you would like to take this excellent tango course with them, this is your chance! It will be 6 weeks tango courses and they will teach Level 1, 3/4 and NeoTango 4+.

At the Traditional Tango courses you will learn the necessary movements, qualities, technique, posture that you need to dance at the tango salons. At the Neo Tango courses you will also learn very creative and fun tango movements that you can dance on traditional and eo tango music.

After the big success of our 1st weekend at De Uelenspieghel, we will have a new edition soon

A whole weekend enjoying Neo Tango. Ezequiel Sanucci & Lydia Müller are specialized in this style with a well-founded base in traditional tango. This weekend they will teach their special modern tango moves, offering extraordinary combinations so that you can experience different dynamics in your dance. There will be played also traditional music in the evening milongas with a nice variation of Neo and Non-tango music. Come in the flow of Neo tango for a whole weekend!

Ezequiel Sanucci & Lydia Müller are Neo Tango specialists and they created their own dance style. They are professional teachers, dancers and choreographers in Argentine tango (neo and traditional), contemporary dance, ballet and contact improvisation. They studied Argentine tango in Buenos Aires, performed at major festivals, theaters, milongas, events, embassies in Europe and Latin America and in many cases together with well-known orchestras. They teach regular neo, traditional and contact tango courses and as well as workshops for festivals, schools, milongas and other events. Ezequiel is also a neo and traditional tango DJ. About the location:
 
The Uelenspieghel lies in the middle of nature in a quiet area where you can walk in a beautiful environment with woods, heath and fens. It is very common to hear an owl, see the deer cross your path or see the squirrels jumping above you through the trees.
 
This old-Saxon farmhouse in Drenthe is the perfect location for tango weekends. The farm has a large hall, a dining room, a group kitchen, a small hall, amphitheater and a studio. A whiteboard, music equipment and a beamer are present. On the grounds of De Uelenspieghel there is a large terrace and a fire pit.
 
The bedrooms are located in the farmhouse and there are three wooden chalets on the site. There is enough space to camp with your caravan, camper or tent. Electricity and Wi-Fi are available.
